From 3–5 October 2025, Tallinn Business Incubator hosted the Game Jam: “Estonian Folklore Edition”, a video game development hackathon aligned with the activities and goals of the i-Game project.
🕹 Over the course of 48 hours, participants from diverse backgrounds, working in teams, created video games inspired by Estonian folktales, myths, and traditions.
Our pilot partner, the Estonian National Museum opened the event showcasing its collections and the i-Game project. Specifically, on behalf of #ENM, Piibe Nõmm delivered a short presentation on digital heritage, the collections of the museum, and the immersive technologies applied within the framework of i-Game project.
“…The video game industry and cultural institutions have much to gain from collaboration, and both sides share a strong interest in joint game development, as demonstrated by the Game Jam at Tallinn Business Incubator…” said Nõmm, who also took part in the hackathon activities herself 🎮🎮
